About Anita
Meet Anita, our charming German Shorthaired Pointer mix, brimming with youthful enthusiasm and puppy mischief, ready to find her new family with another friendly dog.
Anita is a beautiful canine companion that is gradually building her confidence around people. Her fun-loving spirit, combined with her puppy-like playfulness, will unquestionably fill your home with unstoppable laughter and endless love. Initially, she arrived at our care shelter with her sister, Bonnie, and we initially thought they needed to be adopted together. However, as both girls have grown and built their confidence, they've become more independent. We are confident that as long as Anita has another dog companion, she can develop her personality separately and still be blissful.
Anita is a German Shorthaired Pointer with an unknown mix, as she is smaller than average for her breed size. However, she exudes the sweet and endearing nature typical of a Pointer, captivating everyone she meets. Her birth date is estimated to be on January 27, 2024. Anita is desexed, vaccinated, flea and worm treated, and microchipped, and ready to transition from our care to your home.
Anita's ideal day includes vigorous play with her toys, followed by relax time with her favourite humans and canine friends. In the evenings, she loves to curl up for cuddles, embracing the warmth and comfort of her loved ones.
Exuding a pure heart and a charming personality, Anita will surely become a cherished member of your family. Her adoption fee is $700. For more details about Anita, please feel free to reach out to Carolyn at 0427 221 231 or email at phoenixarh@outlook.com.
If you have a resident canine looking for a companion, they might just find their best friend in Anita. She's waiting to meet you and your family with wagging tail and bright, hopeful eyes!

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
