About Phoenix
Introducing Phoenix - a girl with a mesmerizing beauty that truly matches her name. She's about two years old and has a personality that effortlessly blends maturity with a youthful zest.
Phoenix is a girl that knows what she likes! Sunshine, Temptation treats, and the purr-inducing bliss of a good petting are among her favourite things. She expresses her contentment with a heartwarming purr so loud that she has to open her mouth and stick her tongue out! Isn't that just irresistible?
She's had experience around other animals too. Phoenix shares her space with dogs well. However, as far as feline companionship goes, she prefers marching to her own beat and would love to be the sole cat monarch in her castle.
Phoenix has progressively become more comfortable around all people. This shows the courage and resilience that our beautiful girl possesses, learning to embrace and trust once more. With care, consistency, and love, Phoenix is sure to transition amazingly into her new home.
With a clean bill of health, this lovely lass is desexed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She's ready to stride into her chapter of love and warmth - all she needs is you. Phoenix's perfect day involves lounging in warm spots around the house, indulging in her favourite treats, and receiving plenty of tender petting sessions. Don't pass up the chance to add this ray of sunshine to your life. You're just a call away from meeting your new best friend. Please contact Leonie on 0405138825 more information on adopting Phoenix. Let Phoenix rise to the occasion and soar into her happy future with you.

Introducing a Kitten/Cat into a new home (especially where either a dog or cat already lives) can be a difficult challenge. It requires patience, perseverance and supervision.
Once your new kitten/cat arrives home, he or she should be made to feel safe in their own room - we call this the "sanctuary". No other cat or dog should be allowed into this room until they are fully comfortable with their new surroundings. The kitten/cat will need bedding, food, water, a view out of a window and somewhere to hide. A good idea in dog and cat families is also a 2 metre tall scratching post, where a kitten/cat can retreat if they need to.
Keep the kitten/cat in a room for the first few days, then, gradually, using a series of wooden chocks (or similar), open the door slightly to allow paws and noses to meet. It can then be opened further to allow the kitten/cat in and out, but not the older cat or dog in. We recommend that this should be continued for 14 days.
PMAWS URGES ALL OWNERS TO KEEP THEIR CATS INDOORS FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY. THERE ARE PEOPLE AROUND WHO AREN'T FOND OF CATS AND CAN DO UNTHINKABLE THINGS TO OUR DEFENCELESS LITTLE BABIES. THEY HAVE ALSO BEEN KNOWN TO BE COLLECTED AND USED AS LIVE BAIT FOR DOG TRAINING AND FISHING LURES, AND ALSO KITTENS AS LIVE SNAKE FOOD. THE ONLY WAY TO KEEP YOUR KITTY 100% SAFE, IS TO KEEP THEM INDOORS AND WE WHOLEHEARTEDLY ENCOURAGE THIS PRACTICE.
