Hello! My name is Thorn. I’m a beautiful girl who has recently come into care and can’t wait to find my forever family.

Nature
I grew up living in an industrial area. I’m used to being around people and I don’t hide very much, but I’m still learning about being touched by them. My Foster Mum can pat me when I’m eating, but for the most part I prefer to keep to myself and spend time cuddling with the other cats.

I enjoy all the luxuries that indoor cat life has to offer - soft beds, yummy food, and plenty of warmth. I’d love a forever family who will give me time to settle in and come out of my shell at my own pace and that will understand that I am not quite fond of being touched yet.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I would be best suited to a home with no children as I’m still learning to trust humans and loud noises can be scary.

I’m very cat social, I get along fabulously with other cats and would be best suited to a home with another confident, human-friendly cat to teach me how to enjoy affection from people.

I live with a 50kg dog and I don’t mind her at all.

Likes / Dislikes
I love food! Food is the way to my heart. I also enjoy cat towers and warm sunny spots to laze in throughout the day.

I dislike loud noises and being approached or touched suddenly. Slow and steady, please!

My PURR-fect home would be with mature humans and a cat to become best friends with. I need patient humans that don’t expect me to love them straight away; those who will give me plenty of time to come out of my shell.
