Meerkat matches her name as she is always standing on her back legs with excitement. She will watch and stare with her front legs folded at her chest watching the world go by.

Meerkats ideal home is one where she can benefit from some ongoing training as she's still a young energetic pup. Her smaller size makes her appropriate for those who have a smaller backyard, as long as her energy needs are met. Meerkat is very affectionate and would love to spend time with her new family inside lounging on the couch and playing with abundances of toys.

Meerkat is currently not suitable to live with another dog, but ongoing positive socialisation is important for her learning and training. She could potentially live with a cat if given an appropriate introduction. Her sensitive nature makes her a perfect addition to a family with kids.
