About Rudi
Rudi came to SAFE when his elderly owner went to hospital and didn’t come home. He was alone in the home for several weeks, with caregivers/family feeding him, but not spending any time with him, and as a result was understandably distressed. We were never able to speak to the owner, so all the information we had on him was from virtual strangers. But having been in foster care now since mid June, we can confidently tell you about this intelligent ‘little old man’.
Rudi is wary of new people at first, but once he gets to know you, loves cuddling on the couch. He’s good with kids, as long as they aren’t too hyperactive or noisy. He loves going out for walks and is *very* food driven. Rudi is a bit scared of big dogs, but loves little dogs. He is untested with cats.
He hadn’t been to the vet for a number of years when he came to us, but he’s got a clean bill of health now. Up to date on vaccinations, had a lump removed that would have bothered his eye if left untreated, and had his teeth thoroughly checked as well. We’re not anticipating any health issues.
Could you fill Rudi’s retirement years with love and cuddles? We’re sure he wouldn’t complain :).
