About Dr Meredith Grey
*In foster care in Alexandria, Sydney*
Meet Dr. Meredith Grey, an enchanting feline whose personality somewhat resembles her namesake. Right now she is poised to steal your heart. Meredith, as she likes to be called, is a curious and enchanting cat with classic grey tuxedo markings and an adorable resting judgement face.
Despite her occasionally wary demeanor, Meredith really does love her pets and cuddles. The only challenge is in patiently waiting for her to come to you as she is fiercely protective of her sense of free will! However, it likely won’t take long as she has recently discovered the joys of couch and TV snuggles where she can contentedly purr away next to you for hours on end.
She equally enjoys time alone climbing her cat tree or perched on a comfy spot with a view, where she can peacefully watch birds out of the window and retire to her world of thoughts.
Equipped with a "play hard, sleep hard" motto, once settled in her surroundings Meredith embraces her playtime with gusto. She finds joy in a wide spectrum of toys - from the rainbow ribbon wand to little springs and even the elusive Kong for cats. Her idea of a good nap? Curling up in a plush blanket or on a heated pad right after an exciting play session.
Meredith is a charming, soft-hearted cat with a playful side that holds the promise of enriching your life with countless spirited moments. You can find more of her recent adventures on Instagram by searching #MaggiesMeredith Get ready to welcome a lifetime of purrs and companionship with Dr. Meredith Grey.

MY IDEAL HOME:
Would have some fun cat furniture to climb, toys to play with and a friendly feline companion with whom I could spend my days and continue to learn the joys of house-cat life (or one of my sisters could come too!). I’d also love if I could be an indoor kitty to protect my pretty, pink nose.
MY ENERGY LEVEL:
Typical kitten play hard, sleep hard energy. Until I’m grown I’ll likely need my new home to engage me in a few sessions of intense playtime per day to keep me out of trouble… or you could adopt me with one of my sisters and we will tire each other out together and save you the time!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN:
I haven’t yet had the opportunity to interact with children. My foster carers suspect that I would be best suited to a household with older children (10+).
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS:
I love my Greys Anatomy sisters and maintain an amiable dynamic with the resident cats. I’m respectful of their space and mindful of their body language. I haven’t yet interacted with dogs and my foster carers suspect that they wouldn’t be my favourite companions however this isn’t necessarily a deal breaker. Careful and slow introductions led by confident cat parents would likely be required.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
