About Loki & Leo
Meet Loki & Leo, two bonded brothers who shine brighter together. Although they share a lot of traits, each cat has its unique personality, narrating the enriching tale of their sibling love. They are brothers, best friends, and playmates, and the real essence of their bonded charm comes to life when they are together.
Loki and Leo are exceptionally playful cats who thrive on human interaction and attention. Siamese cats, are notably intelligent, needing an engaging environment to keep their minds stimulated. These curiosity-filled brothers will keep you entertained with their charming antics, posing new fun discoveries every day. Both are fond of puzzle toys or interactive play sessions that keep their agile mind ticking.
Loki came to us with a history of urinating outside his litter box, but under our care, he's shown improvement. Loki's past behavior may return if he feels anxious or territorial in a new environment. To ensure a smooth transition into your home, we recommend setting up a quiet, comfortable room for the boys initially with two litter trays. Over time, you can gradually increase their access to the rest of the house. Plugging in a feliway diffuser at home can also help reduce their stress and keep them more comfortable.
These two gorgeous brothers are looking for a loving home where they can stay together, play together, and live together. They adore each other's company and provide each other with comfort and companionship, which is particularly beneficial when moving to a new home.

Medical notes
Leo came to us with a history of being injured falling off a balcony when he was little. He had surgery on the hip at the time to remove the ball of the hip joint. When he arrived here he had hip xrays taken and required repeat surgery on the hip. He has
recovered well from this second surgery and his foster carers did not notice any lameness or pain. He does not have as wide a range of movement in his hip as normal, and will be more prone to arthritis when older than a 'normal' cat. He needs to live
indoors (or indoors + cat run).
Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
Lucy is currently in foster care having a break from the busy shelter life. If you would like more information about Lucy or wish to meet her please contact our Foster Care Co-Ordinator’s -Email foster@catprotection.com.au
