About Leo
Meet Leo.
This shy and timid boy has clearly had a rough start to life and has not formed a trust/bond with people as yet. Since coming into our care he is coming forward in leaps and bounds, however, at his own pace and slowly. He is still hesitant but starting to allow head rubs/pats and is more than willing to accept some yummy treats from you.
It’s hard for shy cats to stand out in the crowd, but they make wonderfully undemanding companions. Shy cats truly appreciate the luxury of a quieter home, and a cosy spot to curl up in. And a little time, patience and love goes such a long way.
Leo will be happiest if he has a quiet room to start off with, spending quality time with you while he gets his bearings. Please note this may take months of your patience, acceptance and love during this process.
We have no doubts that given this time to settle and bond; our beautiful little Leo will shine! Developing a special bond with his person or people. All Leo needs is someone/family willing to let him develop and flourish in his own time and space.
If you’re a special kind of person who’s willing to open your heart and your home to a shy cat, you’ll find it's such a rewarding experience, as plenty of shy cats show their more affectionate side once they’ve settled in.
Leo is litter trained, vet worked and available for adoption (or foster-to-adopt) now.
