About Elsa SUA012849
Elsa is a discerning lady who likes to take her time to get acquainted with a new environment and new people. Once comfortable, she is sure to make a terrific companion. She can be quite independent to fit her schedule at her own pace - relaxed when alone and sociable when she wants to be.
True friendship means a lot to Elsa, and she can't wait to build a bond with her new family. Once you’ve gained her trust, which can take a bit of time and patience, she'll reward you with an endless supply of love and affection, preferring to sit on a lap or nestle next to you on the couch. Elsa is not a needy lady and is quite happy entertaining herself when you're not around.
Elsa does require some extra care owing to her coat, which needs regular brushing to keep it mat-free and pretty as a picture.
Elsa would do best in a quiet home without children or other pets. She prefers to be the sole recipient of your affection, and doesn't care much for boisterous company. Importantly, she does not want to share her human with another feline.
Elsa is FIV+ so must be indoor only.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
