Introducing Lindy Lou, the sweetest old lady you could hope to meet. She is shy at first but once she feels comfortable and understands the new house rules, her gentle nature begins to shine. She has many secrets for her new owners to discover as they get to know her.

Lindy Lou is a quiet dog who rarely barks and is easy to get along with. She is house-trained, well socialised, knows lots of commands and gets on with the male Maltese Shih Tzu she currently lives with. She knows not to chase the two inside cats. She enjoys playing with her ball and squeaky toy.

Lindy Lou is patient, listens to her humans, looks to them for cues and only wants to please. Lindy Lou enjoys her walks, sniffing the wee-mails. Although she pulls a bit on the lead, she responds to commands such as wait. She is a clever dog and not too old to learn how to walk correctly on the lead. She is interested in meeting other dogs and people and likes to say a quick hello. She doesn’t respond to dogs barking at her from behind a fence or across the road. She appreciates 2 walks a day, please.

Lindy Lou enjoys going places in the car despite whining most of the way! The rest of the time she likes to hang out with you, preferably inside. Many family situations would suit Lindy Lou if they are not too loud and busy. She would like some activities that are engaging and interesting, then time to sleep at your feet.

At over 10 years old Lindy Lou has painful age related arthritic aches and pains in her knees and hips that her new family will need to care for. She will make a loving companion and a loyal family member, hopefully for many happy healthy years to come. Needs: Ongoing pain medication for her arthritis.
