ABOUT AUGUST

Wait a minute… is that a dog or a black sheep?
Have you seen a dog that is as gorgeous as August?
August a Cocker Spaniel with the biggest eyes, longest eyelashes and beautiful silky black hair. He is playful, active and knows what he wants - his humans, his toys and his treats!! Being a medium size dog, August is best with a family that is not too young as he may jump for a cuddle. He may also steal off of the table too - so watch out for that cheekiness.
August will bring lots of laughs and positive energy to anyone around him with his little taps on the feet when he wants his treats (he can wait patiently and take his treat gently). August knows his basic commands and is clever enough to learn how to "Stay" in just one session! - He is definitely up for a challenge for anyone who wants to train him. He responds well to treats and a little squirt of water cant hurt as well.

He is an active dog and can be quite vocal. He barks when he wants something and when he gets excited but he does tone it down when told. August needs secure fencing as he is a playful and curious dog who would like to venture around the neighbourhood.

BEHAVIOURAL NOTES:

August does have a little bit of separation anxiety and does require someone who would be home more often than not. He should be left indoors when alone as he does tend to want to wander and may escape if left outside when alone.
He is also a high energy dog so please be aware of this and know that he will require lots of exercise and mental stimulation.
