PERSONALITY:- His temperament is a little different to most cats, as he's quite quirky and perhaps acts more like a dog. Once he loves you though, he'll stick to you like glue! We have found that the quickest way to his heart is roast chicken nibbles and lots of tender loving care. He will then be like putty in your hands and become a very special friend to you. He's a very affectionate fellow.

ESSENTIALS:- Morty yearns to be a loving companion for someone who has a quiet, mature household with lots of routine. ROUTINE IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR MORTY. A home with an absence of other fur babies would be best and any children must be into their teenage years.

A necessary requirement to Morty's new home would be a LAUNCH ROOM. It's an area that has all his essential items e.g. water, food, bedding, toys and litter tray e.g. a bedroom or a crate. This will be a very successful way of introducing him into your home, as he'll come out when he's ready for love and attention.

Morty must be a strictly INSIDE cat as we want him to live a long and healthy life. Also there's the avoidable impact domestic cats have on the outside environment - "On average, each roaming pet cat kills 186 reptiles, birds and mammals per year". To keep him happy with his inside life, it's recommended that he has access to at least TWO large-sized cat scratching posts. They can be placed near a window and the lounge area inside the home. Cardboard boxes, warm window-sills and toys will also provide him with amusement.

A healthy, nutritious diet is essential for Morty. This is one that has high-quality dry biscuits, delicious wet food and bowls of fresh, cool water. Extra hydration is critical for cats.
