About Gandhi - 3 Year Old Jack Russell (Trial)
This powerhouse of energy and affection is such an intelligent three year old jack russell that his name Gandhi suits him well.
Gandhi just loves to play. He fetches a ball or toy to return with glee for more fun. With such exuberant vitality he needs & thrives on his walks. He loves greeting everyone he meets, whether other dogs of all sizes and people of all ages, waggy tail in action. At 7 kilos he doesn't present any problem on his leash though he's learning to walk beside his person. Smelling is a delight when he slows down or he stops poised with curiosity at an unfamiliar sight or sound. He will need reminding in training not to jump up in excitement. He is responding very well & quickly to clicker training.
This little guy is cuddly, loves to sit on your lap or fall asleep there with you at times. He is toilet trained and is adept at using a doggy door. He is happy both inside and outside, especially if he has company; however he also appreciates some down rest time. He would enjoy the company of another dog and shows no aggression.
Gandhi has been using a crate for sleeping quietly of a night, as long as he knows a special person is in the room with him, although he would undoubtedly prefer sleeping on the bed of a night if allowed, to snuggle up to someone warm.
Gandhi would need a secure yard as typical of most jack russells, he may seek adventure elsewhere if left alone outside for too long. Ideally he would suit a family with children or a home where someone is there some of the time.
Not tested with cats.
He is healthy. Low shedding. He travels well in a car if secured, enjoying his nose out of an open window. He is a wonderful loyal companion. His adoring eyes and smiles reward with love. Just honour his abundant energy too.
This little guy is looking forward to his forever home so if would value such a lively, playful, clever, affectionate, Gandhi may be the one for you!
Gandhi is desexed, vaccinated, treated for flees & worms as well as microchipped.
His adoption fee is $600. He is in foster care at Rathmines, NSW.
