About Piper - 5 Year Old Shepherd X Border Collie
Do you believe in love at first sight? You do now! Piper will steal your heart the instant you meet her. She is soft and fluffy with loving brown eyes and a smile almost as big as her ears.
Piper is the typical ‘youngest child in a big family’ and is happy to play on her own and keep herself entertained but also loves to be included in anything and everything with her family.
Piper would be content in either a calm household or a bustling big family home. She is comfortable being left alone for several hours whether you’re at work, kids sport, or enjoying time out with friends provided she has a yard to run around and toys to chew on.
Did I mention Piper is ball-obsessed? She is very smart and obedient, she knows a variety of commands like sit, stay, down, shake, and even fetches specific toys on command. One of her favourite games is “Sniff Sniff” where her foster carer hides small treats around the house/yard for Piper to find.
Finding it hard to stay active during the colder weather? Piper will get you up and moving - rain, hail or shine. She is always ready for a walk or a trip in the car and is well-behaved on a lead. Piper loves the water and will swim in a pool, at the lake or even the beach – though she’s not a fan of bath time.
Described by her foster family as silly, fluffy, and incredibly loyal, Piper will be your best friend. She will greet you at the door with big hugs to welcome you home and is a great listener, just waiting to hear all about your day.
Being a mixed breed, Piper is closer in size to a Border collie with beautiful Shepherd colouring.
Piper prefers the love and attention of being an only dog please, that way she can stay focused on pleasing YOU.
Piper in brief:
