About Wattle
Wattle, the chin scratch enthusiast, is a delightful feline who thrives on gentle touch and the comfort of a serene, predictable environment. Though she may take some time to settle into a new home, her love for gentle chin and cheek scratches, even when she's scared, showcases her sweet and affectionate nature.
A true foodie, Wattle's love for treats can be a great way to help her bond and settle in. Offering her favourite snacks will quickly win her heart. Next to food she also enjoys playing with toys, which not only entertains her but also serves as a wonderful bonding activity with her new owner.
Wattle feels most secure in smaller, confined spaces. Giving her a room of her very own, such as a bathroom, spare room, or laundry, will help her settle and create a safe haven where she can retreat when she feels the need.
Having lived with other cats before, Wattle can be integrated into a home with existing feline residents. A gradual and careful introduction will ensure a smooth transition and foster harmony. She is best suited to an owner with experience helping shy cats. Understanding her need for a slow and patient adjustment period is crucial to helping her thrive. Due to her tendency to hide during loud sounds or sudden movements, a mature and quiet home is ideal, keeping her inside only.
Wattle is a special cat who will reward a patient and understanding owner with her affection and gentle companionship. If you have the experience and heart to offer her a calm and consistent home, Wattle will become a cherished member of your family, bringing joy and love to your life.
