About Cloudy
Meet Cloudy also affectionately known as Cloud, Panda or House Cow(!)
C is for Charming, Confident, Cuddly and Curious! Cloudy is total goofball and did we mention she is smoochy too? She absolutely loves being on the bed and cosying up for a snuggle.
She loves affection and will stick her snoot out to strangers on the street for a pat. Once she’s comfortable, she’d be a greyt sidekick to take out on adventures to cafes and pubs as she'll soak up all the attention! Cloudy loves going on long walks and really enjoys walkies along the creek. She’s a big sniffer and loves to be outside with all the smells!
She loves human attention, so probably wouldn’t mind being an only dog if her humans were home often. But at the same time, she does enjoy having another dog to play with! She’s quite playful and will play with her foster brother after walks.
Cloudy would suit a relatively active household and would prefer her humans to be around more often than not. She likes pottering in the garden and being outside, so would ideally love a home with a yard.
Cloudy is confident but can be a bit unsure in busy places so she would thrive with a family who can slowly introduce her to new spaces and environments.

STEP 1 – ENQUIRE & EOI FORM:

If the greyhound you have applied for is unavailable or unsuitable, we can match you with a more suitable greyhound. We may have a hound in foster care who might be well suited to your family.
STEP 2 – LET'S CHAT:
We'll phone you to discuss suitability, clarify any points of your application and chat process and next steps.
STEP 3 – HOUSE CHECK & MEET + GREET:
We'll come to you! The meet + greet is conducted at the same time that a house check is carried out. The meet + greet is the day that your newly adopted greyhound will be able to stay on with you.
Our adoption fee is $375.00 and must be paid on on the day of the meet + greet, and prior to starting your 3 week trial. Support from our team is freely available. If you have any issues, we urge you to contact us to try and work through them, as all rescue greyhounds have some period of adjustment.
If after the 3 week trial, you feel that you need to return the greyhound, we will refund your adoption fee (less a $50 administration fee), upon return of the dog and all paperwork and other items that the dog was adopted with.
All of our hounds are adopted out with the following:
> Collar, lead & coat
> Certificate of sterilisation & vaccination
> Flea & worm treated
> Care information for your newly adopted greyhound
> Access to our private Facebook page for foster carers, volunteers and adopters of our hounds. A community with invaluable advice and support.
