About Nimbus
Hey there potential new pawents, my name is Nimbus and I am an 1-year-old male Mareema. I am like a real life teddy bear and who wouldn’t love their own real life teddy bear am I right?!
I am the happiest of boys and am great with kids. I have also been exposed to cats, kittens, chickens, ducks, horses, pigs, goats, cows and calves and have been great with all animals. I have 4 doggy foster pals who I also get along well with. I am still learning my manners around some species and building my confidence so will need further training and supervision as I am still young with limited exposure to livestock up until now, therefore a new owner with experience with the breed is a must.
My ideal home will be on a large property, I am definitely not suited to suburban life, with an owner that is around more than not. I absolutely love hanging around with my humans and seeing what they are up to! I am very food obsessed so am willing to listen and learn when there are treats to be had! It must be disclosed though that I am a typical maremma and can be stubborn at times, I like to do things as I decide (although a treat will definitely persuade me), however I have mastered my basic training. I can use my bark rather effectively so my foster mum is more than aware if anything new or different or if someone or something comes onto the property, I don't bark constantly though and can be fairly quiet most of the time.
I will need a strong owner who understands my breeds traits and who will carry on with my training and provide boundaries. I will definitely reward you with devotion and lots of love! I will need someone who is patient as I am still young and learning. A home with another dog would be a bonus as I am a social boy but this is not a deal breaker as a home with someone around more often than not would also be perfect for me.
I am a loveable bouncy, smoochy boy, who loves a good pat and cuddle and am eager to bond to my human. I follow my foster mum about and around the farm and love it.

To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
