About Bernie
❤️🐶 Meet Bernie, a bright and blithsome boy bursting with love! 🐶❤️
🐾 Bernie is INCREDIBLY affectionate, he absolutly adores cuddles more than anything else in the entire WORLD! 🌎 So if you're keen on lots of puppy love, beautiful bubbly Bernie may be your new bestie 🥰. He loves to be as close as phyically possible you. Whether that's being a little shadow, letting you know he's got your back whilst your cooking/doing chores, snuggeled up on the couch next to you or being the sweetest (slightly larger) lap dog he desperatly desires to be!
🐾 Bernie loves doing zoomies with his toys 🦴🧸🎾 gets giddy for some love from anyone and everyone. He occasinally may be a little nervous at first but will quickly bond with humans who are calm and gentle towards him. Bernies friendly demeanour extends to other dogs, he's always eager to make friends and play whilst on walks 🦮🐩🐕🐕🦺. I beleive he would love another dog as a sibling but equially happy being the soul apple of one's eye.
🐾 Although l have not seen Bernie interact with a feline, he is rather intrigued when it comes to birds/possums, which leads me to think he would be best suited to a cat/other smaller animals free home. Bernie relishes in human company, he will provide lots of love and a great deal of companionship, making him a uniquely versatile soul. He would work well in a family with slightly older children or as a precious fur baby to an indidual/couple. 🏡🐶✨
🐾 He is housetrained, shows no food or toy reactivity. Responds well to a few basic commands, is well behaved on a leash and very intelligent, making him a great dog to train further.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
