About Lexie
Meet Lexie, a beautiful 12-year-old white cat with a heart as fluffy as her fur. Her journey began with a love-at-first-sight moment when her owner first laid eyes on her as a kitten. Lexie found herself in a loving home and after two years she welcomed a new feline sibling, Tilly. Though they coexisted peacefully, they never became a bonded pair. Lexie also lived harmoniously with two dogs.
Life took a challenging turn when Lexie's owner was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago, which sadly became terminal this year. With a heavy heart, Lexie's owner made the difficult decision to surrender both Lexie and Tilly to Ninth Life Foundation, hoping they could find new forever homes.
Lexie is a gentle and timid girl who values her personal space and quiet moments. She adores head and chin pats and would thrive in a calm, patient environment. She is seeking a kind-hearted person to help her navigate through the loss of her beloved owner and provide a loving and peaceful home for her golden years.
Having lived with other cats and dogs, Lexie is open to sharing her home with other gentle pets, given a slow and careful introduction. If you can offer Lexie the compassionate and serene home she deserves, she will be a loving and devoted companion.

Adoption details
You need to be a pretty special cat person to adopt an elderly cat into your home. Not as sprightly as a kitten they still require your attention…even devotion. You’ll need to understand their daily routines and take some time to get to know them. Help them with grooming – a great way to bond- as they often don’t have the energy to do it properly themselves. Older cats are stress averse so be patient, observant and take a little more care of their health needs and you’ll soon have a loving companion.
All our cats have received a full health & wellness check and are ready for their new home.
