Tiger (or Tig for short) is truly a one-of-a-kind dog who is looking for love. Tig is a 1-2 year old mix breed – probably cattledog x bull terrier - and was found wandering the streets unloved.

Despite all this Tig has proved himself to be a beautiful soul, a true gentleman and a real spunk and is now eager to find his forever family. Whilst in foster care Tig has picked up house living easily and has taken new challenges in his stride.

He loves other dogs big and small, absolutely loves playtime at the dog park, and is quickly learning boundaries and respect with other dogs. He has shown no reactivity even if other dogs have told him off. His recall is good and he listens even in the midst of playing with other dogs.

He has been around small children and has been good and generally unfazed by them, but because he is quite strong and keen for pats and play with his humans he would probably suit older children playmates. Tig has expressed his new home must have an abundance of chew toys. This is a non negotiable 😂. Tig is an intelligent boy and has shown he’s a quick and eager learner, so we are looking for someone to keep his training ongoing.

Being a young boy Tig has a lot of energy and will thrive with a family that can give him lots of love, attention and exercise, and maybe another dog to play with. He can also be a total couch potato. Tig LOVES cuddles, affection and praise and just wants to please and be loved.
