About 🪕Banjo🪕
Banjo is a quintessential Burmese cat, full of love and personality. He absolutely adores people and is always up for a cuddle or a pat. True to his breed, Banjo is quite the conversationalist and will chat with you throughout the day, so his new owners should be prepared for some delightful feline company. As a keen foodie, Banjo enjoys his meals, and his new family will need to ensure he doesn't overindulge.
Banjo has previously lived harmoniously with another cat and is currently cohabiting peacefully with a feline friend in his foster home. He is quite adaptable and would be content either as the sole cat in the household or alongside a friendly, older cat. He’s met a calm cat-friendly dog while in foster care and doesn’t mind her presence either.
Banjo will thrive in lots of different home environments. He would be happy in an all-adult home or one with children aged 10 and above. Banjo has been very happy to meet human visitors in his foster home, making him a great companion for families who like having their friends and family over often. Equally, he is laid-back enough to relax with you while you watch TV or read a book.
During his time with us, Banjo has had a dental, including the removal of one tooth, which is typical for a cat of his age. Regular dental check-ups and a high-quality diet will help maintain his oral health. Banjo is desexed, microchipped, and up to date with his parasite treatments and vaccinations.
Banjo is currently in care in Glenroy and is accepting applications from potential adopters in Melbourne and its surrounding suburbs. If you think you could provide Banjo with a loving home, we would love to hear from you!
