About Polar
Meet Polar Bear. This gorgeous ball of white is looking for a home to call his home.
Currently based in Perth so a meet and greet can be arranged!
Polar was rescued from a small community outside of Newman. Unfortunately on finding him, it was noticed that he had some eye damage. After a couple of vet checks we have confirmation that he has no vision in one eye and a small amount still left in the other eye - perhaps 5-10 percent.
However, this doesn’t stop Polar from having a good time. Currently living in a home where the grand children come to visit often, Polar can always be found following the kids around and squeezing in between their feet to have a nap.
He loves company - whether with elderly or children or other dogs.
He is super cuddly and loveable and makes his foster friends laugh.
Polar doesn’t bang into things or struggle too much like a blind dog would, however he does have some challenges. He sometimes struggles with depth perception, so homes with a lot of stairs or large retaining walls will need to be avoided unless baby gates or fencing can be put in to help.
Polar is dog friendly and currently living with another dog who he loves to cuddle up to.
We are looking for a special family willing to open their heart and home to this sweet little boy who is so deserving of a home.
