Trisha

INTRODUCING TRISHA!

She is the canine equivalent of a caffeinated squirrel with enough energy to power all of Melbourne. If life was a marathon Trisha would have lapped you 3 times before you have even tied your shoes. If you love living life in the fast lane, then keep reading because Trisha may just be the girl for you.

Trisha was surrendered to The Lost Dogs' Home in May and since then she has been working closely with the staff to get herself ready for you! She is extremely friendly and loves everyone she meets; the feeling is mutual too - Trisha sweeps everyone off their feet.

She is not for the faint hearted, Trisha is an exercise-junkie and loves getting out for walks and play multiple times a day. She is a mixture of two very high energy working breeds, so really, this should not come as a surprise. Dogs like Trisha thrive of mental and physical enrichment. When she isn't out walking or playing with her canine companions, Trisha spends her time playing with toys and using her working-dog skills to solve all the treat puzzles that come across her nose! She is such a smart lady she has also now graduated to clicker training!

Trisha is not only social with humans, but she is social with animals too! She loves other dogs and regularly goes on walks around with other dog-friends from The Lost Dogs' Home. Her previous owner also says that Trisha is used to being around cats and enjoys their company also. She would adore a home with one or two (or seven) furry companions - especially those that can match her high energy levels. Do you have another dog posing as a toddler hyped up on red cordial at home that could use a friend? YES? Amazing, bring them in to have a play date.

Now, Trisha is a bit of a stage-5 clinger. She wants to be all up in your business all the time. She has been working with the staff on managing her need to with you at all times - but like all good things, they come to those with patience (and a bit of extra training)!
