About π€ Ziggy π€
Our beautiful boy Ziggy is doing so well and has really come out of his shell since coming into care, and is now running to greet his foster family instead of hiding which is wonderful!
Ziggy was always such an affectionate cat so it is nice to see him getting back to his old self.
We have discovered that Ziggy loves young humans the most. Even though he is perfectly ok with everyone, he gravitates to the young teens in his foster home more so than the adults. Because of this, we feel that Ziggy would be perfect for a child who needs companionship, one that is perhaps a bit shy or struggling with mental/physical health concerns etc.
We truly believe that once he connects with this particular child, he will be bonded for life and will be absolutely worth slowly building a relationship with. A child who will see that Ziggy has been through some tough times and needs a best friend who will understand him.
Ziggy truly is a very special cat and we just know there is an equally special young human out there just waiting to be his best mate.
Ziggy would make a wonderful companion for any adult too. Perhaps someone who lives alone and is wanting a companion.
He doesn't cope with a lot of noise or fast movement just yet but we strongly believe that once he is settled and confident, this will change.
Ziggy needs a family who will understand that he will need time to settle into his new home as he has had a lot of changes to deal with over the last year. If you offer him time and patience, he will respond with love and affection.
Ziggy needs to be an only pet.
Ziggy is litter trained, is not a fussy eater and must be an indoor cat only.

Like a lot of animals, cats can take time to adjust to new people and environments no matter how friendly and loving they really are. We ask you to keep this in mind when meeting cats at meet βnβ greets (and when you take them home) and not rule them out straight away just because they are not all over you at the first meeting. You could miss out on the most wonderful companion. π

Adoption details
We ask that before you apply for one of our animals, you take the time to think through all aspects of having a pet in your home to ensure it is the right thing for both your family and the animal, now and in the future. Please consider how you would approach changes in your home that may affect your pet and how dedicated you would be to keeping/helping your animal when faced with any issues that may arise in the future.
If you have done this and are interested in one of our animals, please fill in our adoption enquiry form - www.cognitoforms.com/LostAndFoundPetsIllawarra1/LostAndFoundPetsIllawarraIncAnimalEnquiry
Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's profile.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in to see if it is the right match.
Before adoption, all of our animals are health checked, vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, flea/worm treated and heart worm tested (where appropriate).
