About Tatum
Meet Tatum,
Tatum is a gentle, loving & curious girl. You’ll be hard pressed to get her to sit long enough as she loves to explore around her & seek you out for cuddles & pats.
She has a lovely, sweet sensitive side and she is friendly and happy. She’s fairly down to earth with a ‘eh’ attitude to life and that just adds to her charisma and charm.
Tatum is a good fit for first time owners, or those with experience and is fine to live in any household environment whether busy & loud or calm & quiet.
Tatum is open to meet kids of any age & would be a fantastic addition to a family as she is just the sweetest, most loving girl. She would thrive on the attention that kids naturally give to animals.
Tatum loves being picked up, carried & cuddled so she’d make a great friend to any kids in the family. In addition to this, she also loves to be patted especially on her back & having her ears scratched.
We are unsure how Tatum would fair living with or meeting dogs. It is hard for us in this environment to test.
However, we feel that she would be able to co-exist and make cat friends in no time providing that the introduction is slow so that she can get used to her new home & any new feline friends.
We always encourage cats to be indoor cats. Tatum may be a little too sensitive for outside living. Plus, if she is outside, it will increase her chances of running away, getting lost, injured or worse. As an inside only cat she can be safe & sound & live her best life.
Tatum has medium energy levels as you may see her gently batting around a toy or pawing at something that’s being dangled in her fact, but this is done in a way that is so unenthusiastic that it’s actually quite funny. She doesn’t have a favourite toy & much prefers human interaction & attention.
Tatum is a quiet girl, she’s not very vocal but you will hear her purring.
Tatum isn’t fussy with food, but we have had to strip her diet right back as she had some tummy issues. They appear to be solved & we are re-introducing her to other food now. Staff will be more than happy to discuss this further & point you in the right direction regarding the correct food to buy.
Tatum is also squeaky clean as she always uses her litter tray.
Staff Comments: Tatum is a sweetie who loves human attention. She loves to cuddle up in a nice, warm bed to sleep and she LOVES being patted. She is independently dependent on pats.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
