About Dolly
Meet Dolly, a gentle and affectionate bulldog with a heart as big as her wrinkles. Dolly is seeking a loving forever home where she can enjoy her golden years in comfort and care.
She adores neck scratches and has a charming habit of bending her body like an accordion to show her appreciation. Despite some past health issues, Dolly remains resilient and is looking forward to finding a home where she can receive the understanding and care she deserves. She has adjusted well to a life of luxury and would be happiest with a work-from-home family who can provide her with companionship and attention throughout the day.
She requires minimal exercise and would prefer a home where she can have easy access between indoors and outdoors. a typical bulldog, Dolly has a snorty and endearing personality reminiscent of a truffle pig. She enjoys a regular routine and some ongoing 'maintenance' to ensure she can live out her retirement comfortably but trust and believe, it's all worth it for this absolute gem of a dog!
MY IDEAL HOME: Dolly is a mature lady who has shown early signs of arthritis. As such, she requires a home environment that is mindful of her mobility needs. She enjoys gentle walks and would benefit from a home where she can move around comfortably without the need for navigating steps. It's important for her to have access to a small backyard where she can comfortably relieve herself. Bulldog experience would be a huge benefit or at least some experience with ageing companions.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Dolly is a relaxed couch potato at heart, content to lounge around but despite her leisurely demeanour, she transforms into an agile and excited turtle when treats are involved, extending her neck out and snapping her toothless jaws with precision!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Dolly is friendly with humans big and small, she does like the quiet life though so calm older kids are probably best for this beautiful bulldog.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Dolly gets along well with dogs, she is probably best matched with a chill dog that she can just peacefully coexist with. She is not tested with cats.
Medical notes
Dolly has arthritis which requires ongoing management. She has sensitive skin which requires occasional medicated baths / treatment.
