About 9383 - Jenny
š”š¬ MEET JENNY š¬š”
Hi! I'm Jenny from the block. I used to have a little, now I've got a lot!
Nature
I was rescued off the streets by the Angels and now I'm looking for a place to call my own. I have come a long way since coming into care with my Foster Mum, Iām still a little shy but thatās OK.
I love getting pats and I love to have a play as well. My Foster Mum says I am very sweet and very petite.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I currently live in a household with adults and teenage children. My Foster Mum thinks I would do well with a mature family who are around a lot to encourage me to come out of my shell.
Iām currently in care with other kitties and I love their company.
I have not been exposed to dogs and it may be better for me to live in a dog-free home.
Likes / Dislikes
I love to play with my humans and kitty friends. I am getting used to indoor life and all the comforts it brings. I love a good scratch under my chin and will meow for more attention. I love snuggling down in my bed and hanging out on the windowsill.
I am still a little timid and don't like to be picked up as yet. I am not a fan of the vacuum cleaner either. I will need a patient and gentle family who understand that I will need lots of love and encouragement to thrive in my fur-ever home.
I am toilet trained and keep my litter area very clean.
My PURR-fect home would be with a family who understands that I will need some time to adjust to a new house. A safe comfy room for me to relax in at first would be purr-fect.
Having a friendly fur-sibling would be great too as I am used to being around a lot of other kitties.
Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

9383 - Jenny
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Black and White
DOB: 10/12/2022
Adoption Fee: $0 fee due to medical notes
Jenny's adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination*, microchip, flea and worm treatment.
*Vaccinations are subject to availability due to a worldwide vaccine shortage. Our adoption team will notify you if the cat/kitten you apply to adopt has NOT been vaccinated.
Medical Notes: Jenny has previously been infected with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) which is a viral disease in cats caused by Feline Coronavirus. Up to 80% of the cat population is exposed to Feline Coronavirus, however only about 5% of Feline Coronavirus positive cats mutate to FIP. Jenny has been treated for FIP with newly available medication. The treatment was an 84-day course, followed by an 84-day observational period, which has been completed. A complete blood count and full chemistry panel bloods have been run on Jenny and all levels are normal, and the vet has advised she is now considered FIP recovered. Due to the experimental nature of the drugs, long-term side effects are not known. The recurrence rate of FIP is also unknown and can occur. Jenny has some ocular changes associated with having FIP, these changes do not require any further treatment.
Jenny has Gingivitis, which is inflammation of the gums. This condition may require treatment on and off throughout her life. Jenny will need her teeth checked at her annual vaccination. She may need treatment in between these times (of steroids and/or antibiotics) if the condition worsens. She may need teeth extracted in the future.
