About Laya (D1855)
Laya’s idea of heaven - like any Staffy - is being part of the household, beach runs, being by your side for love and attention, watching your every move and sleeping nearby. She is a beautiful natured Staffy x and would love an active home where she’s involved with all the goings on.
Laya is a quick learner and wants to please. She loves to run and with her high energy levels, would make a great running buddy. She is quite strong and can pull on the lead but this would likely be corrected using a Black Dog balance harness or similar.
Laya is fantastic with children and very gentle when cuddled. Like most staffies, she can be boisterous when excited - so if young children are at the park she’d be best on lead. Because of her size, she can seem intimidating to other dogs and their owners but she’s just excited and wants to play. She’s not overly fond of cats, but quickly learns her place if she is in the cats territory and the cat shows her who's boss!
She would love to be an inside dog as she needs to have someone she can attach herself to and be close to. Storms frighten her so being inside with your company and a radio or TV on to drown out the noise would be very comforting.
She's a great guard dog: barks when there are noises that shouldn’t be there and people come knocking. She would probably prefer all the attention that comes with being an only dog, however she also enjoys other doggy company.
Laya is desexed, up to date with vaccinations, will be microchipped and is toilet trained.
For a reasonable cost we can fly her almost anywhere in WA or interstate thanks to our sponsors at QANTAS Air Freight.
You can feel confident adopting with SAFE as our animals come with a “lifetime guarantee” which means that, if for any reason she is no longer able to stay in your care, we will take her back without hesitation.
