Teddy

Introducing Teddy, our 11-year-old Cockerspaniel cross Poodle who is looking for a trusty sidekick to spend the rest of his life with.

Although he is an older lad, Teddy is energetic for his age. Apart from his white muzzle, it's hard to believe that Teddy is a senior. Especially when he is excited, jumping around on his back legs happily. Teddy loves to play with other dogs and trips to the dog park is one of his favourite things to do. He walks well on a lead and loves to be out and about.

Teddy is very social, he loves other dogs and all types of people, including children. He is used to living with an older lady and being her shadow. Sadly, she had to go into retirement living and couldn’t take Teddy with her. He is used to being with her during the day, sleeping on his bed outside her bedroom at night and sitting at her feet while she watches TV. Teddy is house trained and knows how to use a doggy door.

Teddy would love a family where his people are home most of the time. He is used to being an only pet but is currently in foster care with two other dogs who he is living quite happily with. Teddy is not suitable to a home with cats, pocket pets or birds.

Due to his love of food, Teddy is a slightly overweight so would benefit from losing a few kilos. He recently visited the vet for a checkup, and he is in good health for an older boy. The vet noted the following:
Lipoma on lower left abdomen not causing any issues
Teeth at grade 1/4 but overall in not bad shape
Skin is clean and healthy

Teddy has been Vet Checked, Desexed, Vaccinated, Microchipped: 900032000353358 and Flea & Wormed treated. Source Number: RE161465. His adoption fee is $300.
