Introducing our lovable senior, Tussle!

This is currently well controlled but requires 1 daily medication (which Tussle takes very easily without fuss) and 3 to 4 vet visits annually for an ACTH test to monitor this.

Darling Tussle is a very happy boy who loves 2 things in life more than anything..his human/s and going for walks.

He loves to be with you regardless of what you're doing. He will snuggle into you on the couch,potter in the garden with you,watch you work without barking at your co workers, or go out visiting friends with you. He will prefer your quieter friends and dog savvy children. He likes predictability in human behaviour. Sudden loud noises make him wary.
He loves to listen to you talk and he can see into your soul with his beautiful nature.

Tussle is surprisingly energetic for his age, and LOVES his walks,but is VERY vocal if he sees other dogs unknown to him. He can also lunge strongly and suddenly towards them. He calms down with redirection, but walks are far more enjoyable for everyone without seeing unknown dogs. He prefers the bush to the beach as there are more smells. While he can excitedly walk with pace, he likes to also linger over smells.

Once Tussle knows other dogs he is very quickly good with them at home and on walks. In foster care he has lived with another small dog and has made friends and gone on walks with regular dog visitors. It's important that he is properly introduced to new friends. Off lead dog parks will never be fun for him (or you.)
Tussle thinks cats are for chasing.

Tussle is a very happy, easy going dog apart from seeing strange dogs when out.
He is fully house trained. He loves the car. He will appreciate your cooking. He is good in the bath and happy to be brushed.

At night he will sleep through the night very comfortably on your bed if you let him. Otherwise he will happily sleep snuggled into his own bed next to yours, snoring with contentment.
