Eviey

Allow me to introduce you to the delightful Eviey, a charming, very tiny and petite little Jack Russell Terrier Foxie with a personality that is just as sweet as she is. Eviey is an absolute joy to everyone who has the pleasure of meeting her, and she is eagerly searching for a loving home where she can be thoroughly spoiled and cherished.
Eviey absolutely loves going for walks and playing with the kids. Her favorite toys are stuffed animals, especially her squeaky drumstick. She also enjoys a good run around the backyard to do zoomies, which is always a sight to behold
Initially, Eviey was quite timid when meeting new people. However, after a few weeks of socializing with humans of all ages, she now greets everyone with enthusiasm and excitement. Eviye is content to sit on her bed if you are busy with chores, but she eagerly awaits the moment you sit on the couch so she can jump onto your lap for a cuddle. While she can be a bit jumpy, some training is required to keep all four paws on the ground. Fortunately, she is so petite that she is unlikely to knock anyone over.
She has played wonderfully with the younger children in the home and adores the fun and games they play together. Her human kids have taught her to both sit and play fetch which she LOVES!
Interactions with Other Dogs/Animals: Eviey does not seem particularly fussed about other dogs and is currently living as an only dog. She can be a little shy when meeting larger dogs, but she soon warms up and is happy to have a sniff. Although she doesn’t seem interested in playing with other dogs, she is content to be in their company. She is polite during walks when she sees another dog and would likely be able to live with another dog if they were well-socialized and polite. However, she would not cope well with overly dominant and large dogs, as this would scare her.
Eviey’s obedience has come a long way since she entered foster care. Nevertheless, as with all puppies, Eviey would benefit from ongoing training and would thrive in a family willing to take her to obedience training to help her learn basic commands and socialization skills. She is good at coming when called and responds well to treats, usually complying with commands when a reward is involved. She has demonstrated a quick learning ability.
When left alone, Eviey finds ways to entertain herself with toys, running laps in the yard, and playing with bottles and sticks. She very rarely barks
Eviey requires daily walks to keep her physically fit and mentally stimulated. She is an active little pocket rocket, typical of her breed. She enjoys playing with kids in the yard and practicing her basic obedience skills. For this reason we are seeking an active home for her as she is also a young girl who would love an active lifestyle
Eviey is well-behaved in the home. She is currently crate trained, with the crate left open during the day so she can come and go as she pleases. Overnight, the crate is closed with a sheet drawn over it. She likes to hop on the couch for cuddles and hasn’t shown any destructive traits.
Eviey is toilet trained, provided that she has access to an outside area. She has a short, easy-to-care-for coat that requires minimal grooming.
Ideal Home:
Eviey’s ideal home would be with a family that makes her an integral part of their lives, taking her on holidays and outings. While she is a smaller dog, Eviey is very active and loves to run, so a home with a min medium-sized yard is required. As mentioned, Evie would benefit from ongoing training and socialization with other dogs.
A good-sized yard with secured fencing with shelter, shade,
Children in the home would be fine as she adores them
She is untested with cats
A home where she can have access to inside and outside .
Someone who likes to go on adventures and lets her be part of the family.
