Sweet Emma is looking for a home full of love.

Emma came into LDH through no fault of her own and is looking for the perfect hoomans to shower her with love and affection.

Emma has lived with kids before and adored them. She's a very gentle girl but is quite independent & likes her own space. She is always looking for attention and will be grateful for a cuddle whenever there's one available, she'll show you this by leaning in and wagging her tail to tell you she's happy.

She can be a bit nervous around new dogs but once she gets to know them she settles in and loves to play. She would love another friendly, energetic pooch in the home, but she would like to meet them first to make sure they're a good match.

Due to Emma being a pointer & having quite a high chase/ prey drive she is not suitable to go to a home with cats or small animals.

She is very smart and has some tricks up her doggy belt. She loves to be rewarded with treats and a scratch.

Despite her age, she's still VERY energetic and playful and is looking forward to lots of walks with her family, enrichment toys, and playtime in a big backyard.

When she's all tuckered out she enjoys lounging around on her bed and watching the day go by.

Emma will be the best decision you ever made, from a charming walking companion to a heated doggy blanket to curl up on the couch with at the end of the day.
