At 12 months old this gorgeous youngster is ready for his life to truly begin.

Good with other dogs 🐕✅
Can live with cats 😺✅

He's the perfect guy?!
And at 22kgs, he's a great size too.

Simba is a friendly, playful boy.

Sadly he was yet another dog dumped at the pound, simply no longer wanted by his family 😔

He's a smart fella and although he obviously hasn't had much time or training invested into him so far, he's quickly picking up new skills in foster care.

He was placed into emergency foster care to get him out of the pound but his carers have holidays planned so he needs to find an alternative place to stay asap.

Simba has so many great qualities - he loves to play, is super gentle with even very small dogs, is scared of cats and will respect feline family members.
He's loyal and loves the company of people, he happily approaches new people, strangers are just friends he hasn't met yet after all!

Of course, since people have let him down so far there are areas ready for improvement - Simba needs to work on his recall in public places and he's nervous in the car.
He's an athletic guy so needs a secure yard with standard 6ft fencing to keep him safe.

He would be happiest in a home with another dog for company.
He loves to be around people so if you have the option to work from home or ideally don't work super long hours, he'd just love that.

And of course, he's a young boy who will do best with regular exercise so if you're looking for some company to get out and about enjoying the great outdoors more then Simba will be thrilled to accompany you.

FOSTERING is FREE!

You'll need to be able to transport Simba to one of our affiliated vet clinics for his routine care (desexing and vaccination) and also to a specialist vet for surgery to repair his cherry eye.
This looks yucky but is not causing him major issues at present.
