Toby Tom is an absolute delight. He is the perfect mix of couch potato and and playful pup. His spurts of energy last a short while before he retires to the couch or at your feet.

He is great with other dogs, seeming to understand his size and how to play respectfully. He currently lives with a small corgi x and is gentle in play.

He'd be great as either an only dog if his family are around more often than not, or would love another playful companion, that doesn't mind rough and tumble play. If you aren't home, Toby Tom will need a window view :) Seriously. It's his favorite past time gazing out the window.

He is toilet trained and sleeps through the night in his bed, though if he was allowed he'd happily sleep on your bed.

Toby Tom is as clever as he is handsome and has picked up sit, stay, drop, paw and can do a 360 with a twirl of a finger. To ensure he is going to be the best dog, he's involved in intensive training to work on walking nicely on a lead. By the time he finishes training at the end of July, he will be the most perfect boy that ever was. His new family must be willing to continue his training and reward his good behaviour. Because training equals treats, and treats are life, ya know!?

Toby Tom loves being involved in all that is going on in the house. He has a very calm sweet nature. Toby Tom loves a snuggle and very tolerant of a poke, prod and uninvited love. He secretly loves the attention and will pretend to sleep so that it doesn't stop. With this in mind, a home with kids his size or bigger would be amazing, more love! He can get quite animated when he is excited so little kids could end up collateral damage in the excitement given his size.

He'll do great as your one and only, even if it's just you and him on adventures for life. Equally, he'd excel as a family dog with lots of people and action happening in the home.

He'll be someone's soul dog, that once in a lifetime special guy. Perhaps Toby Tom is your soul dog?
