About Hector
Hector is one lucky boy with a sad story to tell. All we want for him is to find a home where someone will love him so much and be happy for him to curl up into your lap, itâs his favourite thing to do and his favourite spot đ„ș
The day Hector arrived from the pound is a day weâll never forget in rescue. Hector climbed into his carerâs lap and he wouldnât move. He rested his head on her shoulder and it was as if he said thank you for being the first person to show me love. He sat like that for twenty minutes before his carer gently placed him in the car to drive him to his foster family. He would have never let go if he could have. đđ„ș
Hector is only 6 years old and his teeth were the worst we had ever seen. He was skinny, filthy and just wanted to be held.
Hector has been absolutely spoiled in foster care, has had a dental, and is looking like the happy healthy boy he was always meant to be! He is so special and the way he is so grateful about being rescued melts our hearts.
As you can imagine, he might be the most cuddly and loving boy we have ever met. He adores his humans. Growing independence, likes his den and long snoozes. Crate trained, generally sleeps all night - and loves a sleep in. He is an easy to have around companion.
Hector has adjusted so well to home life. He is Toilet trained, uses the dog door, no chewing, doesnât beg. Happy to left alone once heâs had his cuddles. Doesnât bark, generally loves visitors. He will want to be next to you on the couch but will go to his bed if told. Very quiet.
He has medium activity levels, a few walks a day makes him very happy! This special boy does prefer to stay away from busy parks/dog parks as he can be unsure with other dogs. Some dogs he will sniff if theyâre not full on in his face but he can get stressed if theyâre very energetic and full on. Keeping him on a lead is important.
He is finally now Just learning to play â when he arrived he had no idea about toys. Heâs just started to get interested in running after them but wonât pick them up yet. He has never known what being a pet is, that he can play and get cuddles; itâs heartbreaking but so wonderful to see him learn. đâ€ïž
No cats please đ
Hector is quiet, cuddly and is so behaved in the home or when left alone.
This boys past has been sad and full of neglect. Letâs make his future full of love and cuddles, itâs all he wants â€ïž
