About Yoda
Introducing Yoda
Little Yoda came into our Village with his dad Rah.
Both Dogs came from a retired breeder.
Whilst Rah was a longtime stud dog who has a number of health issues, little Yoda appears to have had a little more attention paid to him and doesn’t really bear too many scars from his previous life.
Yes, he is very shy and timid and hasn’t been socialised.
The big world is still scary and a bit noisy for him, but he is a happy little man who loves attention and cuddles, so he is coming on in leaps and bounds.
He has the sweetest personality and is the size of a peanut at around 3kg.
Yoda has settled into foster care beautifully and adores the humans and dogs he is living with.
He adores snuggly beds, looking out the window and feeling the warm sunshine om his face.
Yoda will need a quiet home and owners that will allow him time to find his brave – owners who understand he needs to be allowed space if he needs it but to have a huge heart and warm arms when he needs those.
Yoda would be a perfect dog for retirees who are home a lot – he doesn’t need a big yard or adventures in the countryside.
He is 4 years old so still only a young dog, but he hasn’t had a lot of attention previously.
The vets think in a year or two he may need a dental (as is common with these little ones) but his teeth are fine – just not as sparkly as a 4 year olds normally would be.
For those who like to know he is a cream and chocolate point Smooth Coated Chihuahua.
He is also desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested and up to date with his flea and worm treatments.
Yoda is located at Beachmere and his adoption fee is $795
If you would like to meet him, please send us a detailed message telling us all about yourself and the amazing life he could share with you.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Will need a dental clean soon

How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
