About Jo-Jo Binxes
Once upon a time, in a bustling shelter nestled in the heart of a verdant countryside, lived four delightful sisters. They were Kelpie x Border Collie mixes, only four months old, and their names were Jemima, Jo-Jo Binxes, Jacey, and Jolene. Their journey to the shelter had been unexpected; they were surrendered because they hadn't found families to take them home.
Despite their rocky start, these pups were remarkably well-mannered for their age. Each one had a unique personality, but they shared a common love for life and adventure. The shelter staff adored them and often remarked on how well-behaved they were for such young pups.
Though their stay at the shelter was filled with love, the staff knew these girls needed a place to call home. They often dreamed of families who would take them to puppy school, where they could learn new skills, meet other dogs, and socialize with people. Puppy school would be the perfect place for these energetic pups to channel their high spirits and working breed instincts.
The sisters adored other dogs and would happily romp around with any dog eager for a playmate. They had a special way of bringing out the playful side of even the most reserved dogs at the shelter. Their antics and infectious energy brought joy to everyone they encountered.
Being a mix of working breeds, Jemima, Jo-Jo Binxes, Jacey, and Jolene had an abundance of energy. They thrived on exercise and craved the thrill of exploring new places. Whether it was a hike through the woods, a run on the beach, or a simple walk in the park, these girls were always ready for an adventure. Their ideal forever homes would be with families who loved the great outdoors and were eager to include them in their explorations.
The shelter staff often imagined the perfect families for the four sisters. Families that would not only love and adore them but also understand their need for physical and mental stimulation. They envisioned homes where these beautiful girls would be cherished and where their boundless energy and loving natures would be appreciated.
As days turned into weeks, the shelter staff remained hopeful. They knew that somewhere out there, four wonderful families were waiting to welcome Jemima, Jo-Jo Binxes, Jacey, and Jolene into their lives. And when that day came, these four beautiful girls would finally find the forever homes they deserved, where they would be loved, adored, and free to explore the world with their new families.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
