About Jemima
🐾 Meet Jemima - Your Future Best Mate!
Breed: Kelpie
Personality: Energetic, intelligent, affectionate
Jemima is everything you'd expect from a young Kelpie-bright, lively, and always ready for her next adventure! This gorgeous girl thrives on activity and absolutely loves a good run around, whether it's chasing a ball, exploring the outdoors, or just stretching her legs in a secure yard.
True to her breed, Jemima is incredibly intelligent and eager to learn. She's the kind of dog who will really shine with a bit of time and effort put into training. Give her guidance, consistency, and mental stimulation, and she'll reward you with loyalty, companionship, and a willingness to learn just about anything you can teach her.
But it's not all go-go-go-Jemima has a soft side too. She absolutely adores people and loves being part of the action. Whether it's greeting you at the door or sticking close by your side, she's happiest when she's with her humans.
💛 Why You'll Love Jemima:
With just a little investment in training and attention, Jemima will become your best friend for life. She's a devoted, clever, and loving companion who will bring joy, fun, and plenty of personality into your home.
If you're looking for a smart, active dog who will bond closely and share your adventures, Jemima might just be the perfect match for you! 🐶💫

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
