About Neilina
Meet Neilina – Your Perfect Furry Companion! 🐾
Forget looking for a boyfriend or girlfriend—what you need is Neilina, a gorgeous, chonky British Shorthair with a heart full of love. Despite a rough start in life, this gentle, affectionate girl is now trying to find a warm bed and a dedicated human (or humans) to provide her daily pats, cuddles, and lap time.
Personality & Traits:
* Gentle & Loving: Neilina thrives on affection. She loves nothing more than snuggling up next to you on the couch or in bed, basking in your company. Nelina will sleep with you in bed all night, especially during winter, she loves curling up in a ball next to you.
* Playful Spirit: Neilina is full of playful energy there is nothing she loves more than chasing a toy. Her silly antics and love for all kinds of toys will keep you entertained for hours. She has toys for the first time and adores them. She keeps herself entertained for hours and loves it when you play with her.
* Beautiful Grey Coat: Her stunning grey coat is incredibly soft and a sight to behold, making cuddle time even more enjoyable. She needs occasional brushes to keep it in tip-top condition and requires a high-quality diet. Currently, she is fed wet and dry food and is learning what a treat is and how to eat it.
Ideal Home:
Neilina would flourish in a home without very young children, as she is still learning to trust and feel secure. However, she has made remarkable progress in her foster home, discovering that humans can be kind and that food is always plentiful. Her foster family firmly believe chonky kitties are beautiful kitties and has let Neilina know she will never have to compete for food again.
Neilina has been fostered with her friend Kaleiah, another stunning Scottish fold mix British Shorthair. Ideally, we would like to find a loving home that welcomes Neilina and Kaleigh together, although they can be adopted separately.
Special Requirements:
* Indoor Only: Neilina is strictly an indoor cat. She has never been outside but loves expansive windows with outdoor views where she can survey her kingdom.
* A Forever Home: Neilina’s foster family adores her and will miss her dearly. They know she deserves a family where she can be the forever pampered housecat she’s meant to be.
* The Dream: We want Neilina to go to a family who will keep her forever. She deserves this. In return, you’ll be rewarded with love and companionship you haven’t experienced before.
Could you be the one to provide Neilina with the loving home she deserves? Apply today and make this beautiful, loving girl a part of your family!

Welcome to Small Paws Animal Rescue QLD.
We aim to place each of our animals with the best family possible.
Our adoption process may seem a little complex, we ask a lot of questions. But there are reasons for this.
1. Our animals in care are like our children.
2. We want to match the best humans with the animals to ensure you are happy and our animals are happy.
3. We don't want animals to come back to us. We want their family to be forever.
So our adoption process begins with an application being completed.
Once we receive the application we will assess it on face value of the answers you have provided.
Once we can determine if you sound like a good fit, we will call you to chat a bit further.
This is when we will schedule a meet and greet with your potential new family member/s.
We may need you to have more than one meet, especially if you have other pet/s that need to be introduced or children and other human family members.
We will confer with our foster carer, and advise you as soon as possible if you were successful in your meet and greet.
Once we have confirmed your success, we will arrange for the paperwork to be completed including the adoption payment.
We allow our foster carers time to say goodbye to their foster babies, it can be hard for some to give them to their new homes and we recognise all the hard work and dedication they have put in to ensure that your new family member has been safe and is ready to go to their forever home.
We will keep in contact with you for 2 weeks during a "trial" adoption period. There are terms and conditions to be met and we will advise you of these.
Once the trial period has ended we will send you the paperwork for your new family member.
At any time after this - if you need assistance you can always contact us.
