About Kaleiah
Meet Kaleiah – The Sweet, Gentle Soul Looking for Her Forever Home! 🧡
Introducing Kaleiah, a beautiful orange and white purebred British Shorthair with a heart as gentle as her demeanour.
Kaleiah has had a challenging start to life, but she is now ready to find a forever home where she can bask in love and attention.
Personality & Traits:
* Gentle & Loving: Kaleiah is a very gentle and affectionate kitty. She loves cuddles, pats, and especially ear scratches. Her calm and pretty nature makes her a soothing presence in any home. She will melt your heart with her adorable snuggles.
* Sunbathing Enthusiast: Kaleiah is perfectly content lounging in the sun and enjoying her peaceful moments. Despite her independent streak, she also craves human interaction and loves being petted and held.
* Silent Communicator: Kaleiah can’t meow, but she tries to communicate with adorable little sounds that will melt your heart.
* Quiet & Calm: This calm kitty is perfect for any household, adapting well to different environments and family dynamics.
Special Bond with Neilina:
Kaleiah sleeps with her friend Neilina, a beautiful grey British Shorthair, and they often play together. If you have room in your home and heart for a second British Shorthair, we highly recommend adopting these two girls together. They get along wonderfully and provide each other with companionship. Plus, you have two legs and two arms, so that's one for each kitty. Perfect!
Ideal Home:
Kaleiah would suit a family of any age. She is quiet and gentle, making her an ideal companion for children and adults. While she enjoys her alone time, she also deeply craves attention and interaction, making her perfect for a home where someone can spend quality time with her.
Special Qualities:
Kaleiah is a purebred British Shorthair, and they are known for their kind and even temperament. She is the most snuggly adorable cat, wanting nothing more than cuddles on the couch and sleeping in your bed with you overnight. She will bond strongly with her owners; however, she needs patience and understanding as she continues to learn how to interact with humans. This bonding process is incredibly rewarding; in return, you’ll experience a loving relationship like no other.
Our dream for Kaleiah is to find a forever home where she can receive the attention she deserves. With a bit of time and effort, Kaleiah will reward you with endless affection and loyalty.
Diet:
Kaleiah is fed a diet of good quality wet and dry food and is learning to accept treats. Kaleigh had had to compete for food in the past, so she is also learning food will always be plentiful now; she doesn’t have to gulp it down so fast, and there will always be more. She has put on weight and looks like a beautiful British Shorthair should. This is a chunky breed, so as she continues on a diet of high-quality food and no food restrictions, her coat will continue to fill out and become even more beautiful.
Could you be the one to give Kaleiah the loving home she deserves? Apply today and experience the unmatched bond with this sweet, gentle Kitty

Welcome to Small Paws Animal Rescue QLD.
We aim to place each of our animals with the best family possible.
Our adoption process may seem a little complex, we ask a lot of questions. But there are reasons for this.
1. Our animals in care are like our children.
2. We want to match the best humans with the animals to ensure you are happy and our animals are happy.
3. We don't want animals to come back to us. We want their family to be forever.
So our adoption process begins with an application being completed.
Once we receive the application we will assess it on face value of the answers you have provided.
Once we can determine if you sound like a good fit, we will call you to chat a bit further.
This is when we will schedule a meet and greet with your potential new family member/s.
We may need you to have more than one meet, especially if you have other pet/s that need to be introduced or children and other human family members.
We will confer with our foster carer, and advise you as soon as possible if you were successful in your meet and greet.
Once we have confirmed your success, we will arrange for the paperwork to be completed including the adoption payment.
We allow our foster carers time to say goodbye to their foster babies, it can be hard for some to give them to their new homes and we recognise all the hard work and dedication they have put in to ensure that your new family member has been safe and is ready to go to their forever home.
We will keep in contact with you for 2 weeks during a "trial" adoption period. There are terms and conditions to be met and we will advise you of these.
Once the trial period has ended we will send you the paperwork for your new family member.
At any time after this - if you need assistance you can always contact us.
