Russell is a confident boy with a nose for adventure! He's a curious boy who loves following his foster dad around and watching what he's doing.

He would be the perfect sidekick for an active person as he'd enjoy nothing more than being along for the ride throughout your day 💜🧡

An intelligent, happy boy ready to be your best mate 🐕

He's happy to be cuddled and is quick to relax in your arms. Rusty loves his walks and exploring everything around him, though when he's ready to go home he'll be sure to let you know!

He'll need someone to help him develop his focus and some manners as he can get overexcited and pull or jump. Once you have his attention and he understands what is expected from him, his Collie cleverness kicks in. As he has the Kelpie independent streak, Rusty would need someone who provides strong guidance to be the best boy he can be. His breed mix means he’s an active dog so will need mental and physical stimulation. He loves tug toys and textured toys that he can chew on.

He crates with his brother and settles well, sleeps through the night! No toilet accidents while in crate and is working on house training.

Russell and his brother William enjoy exploring their backyard but love being inside with you when they're done. His new family will need to accept that he’s just a puppy and still learning - he’ll need supervision to ensure he only learns good behaviours. He hasn’t had much time away from his brother so may complain a little bit, but soon finds something to preoccupy his mind until he has company again.

He's excited to make more human and doggy friends and just loves everyone ❤️

He would do very well with an older dog to show him the way or would love having your full, undivided attention as an only pup.

Russell would fit any home! As long as the family is active and ready to train him to be the best boy when he grows up!
