About Holly
Hi my name is Holly, I’m a 4 year and 11 month old Tibetan Spaniel x
I and many others, came into care a few weeks ago from a backyard breeder and we were very timid and unsure when we arrived.
When the rescue arrived to collect me I had a bit of a surprise for them - 2 newborn babies. The rescue ensured that I and my babies were safe for the huge drive home and then they made sure that I was taking care of with my babies.
I spent the first few weeks with my babies and learning that a home life was pretty good and while I was very timid and unsure of others I started to grow with my confidence and absolutely love being a part of a family.
My babies have now gone to their furever homes and my foster dad says it's now all about me and finding the right home for me! I hope my new family will give me a chance to settle and gain my confidence with them. New places and loud noises do make me nervous so please be patient while I settle in.
My foster dad says that I am starting to blossom, it may take me a few moments to get comfy when I first meet you, but after that your lap is my favorite spot to be in if your sitting.
I need a home where there is someone home more often than not or other dogs to play with. A home where people work from home, shift work, a retired person etc who wants to spend the time with me would be ideal. If you do go out I do like to reward you when your home with lots of cuddles.
I want to spend as much time with my humans as possible – I would happily be your shadow 24/7 – I have been known to even be so focused on how happy I am that I will just happily walk behind my mum into the shower – my tail wagging a mile a minute!
I am not tested on cats
I weigh 6.4 kgs
I am child friendly but would probably prefer a home with kids over 8 years old as loud noises can make me nervous.
I came into care not used to walking on a lead but now I walk well, and get exited when my leash comes out as I know what that means!. I'm still a little nervous of new places and new friends so I always walk behind or beside mum and dad.
I would love to be able to have the opportunity to sleep either in a dog bed in a bedroom or on a humans’ bed would be great - I make an incredible hot water bottle.
I am toilet trained but if I can’t get outside I will have an accident in the house.
I am happy to have access to inside and out side during the day (I like to sleep inside on my dog bed where I’m happy ) – I love to be able to have access outside during the day to sniff and explore and then inside when I’m ready for a nap.

Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email.
