About Jean
Meet Jean
Jean is a stunning 7-year-old Torbie cat who is eagerly searching for a loving family that will cherish her forever. She has a sweet disposition and adores cuddles, always being the first to come running out to greet you when she hears you coming.
Jean's ideal home would include kids over the age of 8 years, as she prefers a calm environment where she won't be constantly annoyed. She's cat-friendly and would be happy to share her home with another relaxed cat that respects her space.
While Jean enjoys her independence, she is equally enthusiastic about spending quality time with her human companions. If you're looking for a delightful kitty who balances her own activities with affectionate moments, Jean is the perfect match for your family.
To book a meet and greet with Jean please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
