Unfortunately, he came to us because his previous owner couldn’t meet his energetic requirements, which led to some destructive behaviors. With a little love and guidance, Conan can be the perfect companion!

What Conan Needs:
Experienced Owner: Conan is looking for someone who understands the needs of an intelligent breed and can provide the proper care and attention.
Mental & Physical Stimulation: He thrives on activity and would benefit from group classes and dog sports to keep him engaged.
Refinement of Skills: While Conan is housetrained, he needs continued work on his leash skills and socialization with other dogs on lead.
Family Compatibility:
Dog-Friendly: Conan has lived with a female dog before and may do well with a well-matched female in his new home.
Kids Welcome: He’s lived with teenagers and would be suited for a family with children over 12.
Cat Caution: Due to his herding instincts, he’s not recommended for homes with cats.
Health & Well-Being:
Conan is currently prescribed fluoxetine for anxiety, which we hope to wean off in the future. With the right environment and care, he can flourish.
