About Bella
Bella is a ray of sunshine! Her inquisitive snoot and fun personality will make her the ultimate pal. Her adorable peeping face looking for adventure, velvety ears, and little bursts of playful energy will keep you laughing, and she’s also such an easy going lady who is currently charming everyone at the retirement village where she lives with her foster carer!
She’s gentle, friendly and smoochy, she adores humans and her sunny disposition means she’s a crowd favourite. She gets along well with dogs of all shapes and sizes. She loves her walks, easily exploring and happily greeting everyone she meets, often accompanied by her new little pal, a tiny chihuahua mix who joins her for a daily stroll.
She would be perfect in a home where she has someone around lots to dote on her (she loves attention!) and a bit of space outside for leaping about in play. Bella loves toys and enjoys carrying them around the house, and will even play fetch with her teddies! Bella could happily live with another canine companion, and is a truly happy-go-lucky little bean!

If the greyhound you have applied for is unavailable or unsuitable, we can match you with a more suitable greyhound. We may have a hound in foster care who might be well suited to your family!
STEP 2 – LET'S CHAT:
We'll phone you to discuss suitability, clarify any points of your application and chat about process and next steps!
STEP 3 – HOUSE CHECK & MEET + GREET:
We'll come to you! The meet + greet is usually conducted at the same time that a house check is carried out. The meet + greet is the day that your newly adopted greyhound will be able to stay on with you.
Our adoption fee is $375.00 and must be paid before or on the day of the meet + greet, and prior to starting your 3 week adoption trial. Support from our team is freely available. If you have any issues, please contact us and we will work through them, as all rescue greyhounds have some period of adjustment.
If after the 3 week adoption trial, you feel that you need to return the greyhound, we will refund your adoption fee (less a $50 administration fee), upon return of the dog and other items that the dog was adopted with.
All of our hounds are adopted out with the following:
> Collar, lead & coat
> Certificate of sterilisation & vaccination
> Flea & worm treated
> Care information for your newly adopted greyhound
> Other goodies!
> Access to our private Facebook community for foster carers, volunteers and adopters of our hounds. A community with invaluable advice and support!
