About Willow
Introducing Willow, a sweet three-year-old Basset Hound who's ready to bring a little joy into your life. She's a little ball of sunshine wrapped in an adorable hound-shaped package, with a quiet elegance that sets her apart from the rest.
Willow might seem a bit shy and anxious when you first meet her, but don't let her apprehension deter you. She warms up quickly, melting into a pool of snuggles and tail wags once she trusts you. This darling girl boasts an amazing nature; she's gentle, loving, and thrives best with plenty of snuggles and attention.
Willow is great with other dogs, seamlessly fitting into a pack and being an affectionate companion for someone who can be with her as she can show separation anxiety when away from her human friends. Her feline interactions leave her unsure of cats but also not showing much interest, but this intelligent canine is quick to adapt to new situations. Willow would do best in a home with another dog and someone who is at home most of the time.
When it comes to exercise, Willow walks well on the lead and extra activity can be a good way to build her confidence and encourage bonding. Yet, at heart, she's a delicate girl, preferring a leisurely stroll in the park rather than a high-energy game of fetch.
Sweet doesn't even start to cover what a lovely lady Willow is. Her soulful eyes are full of kindness that makes her the perfect fit for a family who'll shower her with love and affection. Willow is eagerly awaiting her chance to show you just how much happiness a faithful friend can bring, are you ready to meet her?

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
