About Balerion STA012807
Meet Balerion, an absolute charmer who will steal your heart the instant you meet him. Beneath his majestic exterior, Balerion is a gentle soul eager to love and be loved. With his beautiful eyes and mesmerizing gaze, this handsome guy is a sight to behold.
Balerion will start off a bit nervous when meeting new people and when placed in new environments. He prefers a serene, quiet home that can offer him enough time and space to settle in and get comfortable. His ideal home would be one without small children or other pets so he can have all the calm and tranquility he needs to blossom.
Now, if there's one thing that truly brings joy to Balerion, it's his food. Excellent cuisine is undoubtedly the way to this big guy's heart. He loves mealtime and looks forward to tasting new and exciting flavors. A variety of wet foods and healthy, satisfying dry foods are his favorites.
Once he has navigated his initial shyness and you've won his heart (most likely through his stomach), you'll find that Balerion is an incredibly affectionate cat. He loves to nuzzle your hand and purrs happily when he feels safe and loved. His purr is like a soothing lullaby, washing over you with warmth.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
