Montrose

Montrose hasn’t had a good life previous to coming into care. He wasn’t in very good condition when he came in either so he has come a long way in a short time. He’s affectionate and chatty once he knows you and understands that he is safe. He loves the company of other cats and would enjoy going to a home with one of his friends (also listed). He’s a social boy and once the shock of a new environment wears off and his immune system has recovered from the stress of that move; he will be an amazing companion to your home.
Please do not apply if you don’t want to be responsible for the upkeep of his coat. They are very sensitive and need time to adjust and a lot of patience to get through this period of change.
He has had a coat maintenance recently and will need to be brushed regularly to keep the matting and knots from forming that causes pain. He likes to be brushed so it’s not going to be an issue in his new home.
We will provide you with a lot of information when he comes home with you - we can not stress to you enough how sensitive the breed is!
Montrose loves people and will enjoy a home that has plenty of people in it that can provide him with the affection he craves.
