Meet Hibachi, the life of the party! This playful boy is a bundle of energy and charm, ready to bring lots of fun to your home!

Hibachi absolutely adores toys - squeaky ones, chewy ones, you name it! His eyes light up with excitement at the sight of a new plaything, and he's always eager for a game of fetch or tug-of-war.

Hibachi isn't just about play; he's a food enthusiast through and through. He is treat OBSESSED. When the treats come out he cannot contain his excitement and nothing else matters in the world but getting his treat. He may need a little training learning how to not snatch the treats out of your hand though, he gets a bit too excited.

Hibachi would thrive in an active household where he can join in on adventures and receive plenty of playtime. He is a whizz at food puzzles and loves a fun challenge of a snuffle mats, kong or licky mat! We have heaps of amazing enrichment toys available here for purchase at our Adoptions Centre, that Hibachi just LOVES!

His ideal home would be one where everyone is an adult (16+), this is just due to him finding handling a bit nerve-wracking. As Hibachi was a stray, we unfortunately don't have much history on his life before entering our care. Hibachi's new family will need to help him learn that handling is not scary and is the way his humans show him just how much they love him.

Hibachi is a social guy but at this stage would prefer to be the only dog in the household as he finds canine pals a little overwhelming at times and needs to work on calm interactions.
