Beckham is an energetic, playful boy looking for an active home with a family who will take him on walks and give him lots of cuddles and love. He is crate trained and will sleep in his crate for naps or overnight, but he loves to sleep on your bed or couch if allowed. Beckham is suited to a home with a yard, and he needs high fences to keep him safe. He is a quiet dog and can be safely left during work hours.

Although Beckham doesn't necessarily need another dog or someone home a lot, he does require training, and dog school will be necessary. He is 90% house trained and pulls on the leash, but training will rectify this. When meeting other dogs, he may bark at first but settles down with lots of cuddles. Beckham can be a jumper when excited, such as when you come home, but once settled, he will lie across your lap or next to you. He is food motivated and has a strong ability to learn, with medium activity levels.

Beckham is outgoing and clever, adoring everyone of all ages, including dogs. He loves belly rubs and will lie next to you, rolling onto his back for more. Despite his name, Beckham is a real sweetheart best suited to a life of luxury indoors with humans ready to spoil him. His favorite toys are his squeaky Santa plushie and his squeaky Christmas toy, which keep him entertained for hours. Beckham is playful, a couch potato, friendly, and sometimes stubborn, making him a delightful companion for the right family.
